Jo Ann Flom Greenberg, 1928-2013

While Greenberg’s work in pottery received critical acclaim, she was also known for running the crafts gallery, Alternatives, in the Riverbend. The Times-Picayune remembered her especially for the whimsy she infused in pots, plaques, and plates—“making the everyday of life more meaningful.” Her work is part of many private collections and the permanent collections at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Newcomb Art Museum.
