Social Justice

The collective presence of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), Hadassah, and synagogue sisterhoods cultivated women’s leadership, connected and empowered Jewish women to affect change. They did so through work on immigration issues, civil rights, and women’s rights. Jewish women have been dynamic leaders at the forefront of every major change that has shaped a more inclusive, just, and international city.
